The exhibition project „Trace the Tweet“ draws patterns of interference between scientific and artistic practices by following the vectorial traces of bird paths, both in terms of straightforward content and as an introductory idea for epistemic translation. Departing from Marica Radojčić’s artistic project _fly and sing_ as well as from the scientific studies about „the bird honesty“, described as a vital necessity for species reproduction, the exhibition reflects onto the issues of (im)possibility of honest communication in the contemporary info-technological society. In times in which the „tweet“, the short slogan, the frantic and fragmented wording becomes a dominant mode of expression, forms of animal communication can turn into new referential motives for helping us to (re)trace the connection between the linguistic sign and the emotional and affective substrate of sense.
The experimentation of different connections between speech and sensation opens up new potentials for escaping reductionist impositions culminating in the formation of neoliberal subjectivity. And in turn, novel acts of perception and expression could lead towards the creation of more intensive eco- and ethological feelings and consequently, a into a diverse unfolding of human and nonhuman relational patterns.

Výstavní projekt „Trace the Tweet“ dvojice vídeňských kurátorek Gertrudy Moser-Wagner a Claudie Mongini naznačuje prostřednictvím několika instalací možné vzorce souběžnosti mezi uměleckým výzkumem a metodami, které nalezneme spíš v současném diskurzu přírodních věd. Jako inspiraci a východisko si zvolily témata týkající se převážně etologie ptáků, například jejich migrační dráhy, zpěv jako způsob orientace v prostoru a jako nástroj druhové i mezidruhové komunikace.
