Linda \u010ciha\u0159ov\u00e1 (1982), \u017eije a pracuje v Praze, kde tak\u00e9 vystudovala Vysokou \u0161kolu Um\u011bleckopr\u016fmyslovou. Absolvovala st\u00e1\u017ee na Famu, University of New Mexico v Albuquerque, Academy Beeldene Kunste v Maastrichtu a stipendijn\u00ed pobyt v centru Egona Schieleho v \u010cesk\u00e9m Krumlov\u011b.
\nI kdy\u017e m\u00e1 jej\u00ed tvorba \u0161irok\u00e9 rozp\u011bt\u00ed a kombinuje nov\u00e1 m\u00e9dia s klasick\u00fdmi, jednot\u00edc\u00edm prvkem a hlavn\u00edm inspira\u010dn\u00edm zdrojem z\u016fst\u00e1v\u00e1 krajina a vz\u00e1jemn\u00e9 vazby s jej\u00edmi obyvateli. Vych\u00e1z\u00ed z land artu a konceptu, ale inspiruj\u00ed ji hlavn\u011b v\u011bdeck\u00e9 metody a v\u00fdzkum p\u0159\u00edrodn\u00edch proces\u016f. Jej\u00ed pr\u00e1ce m\u00e1 sv\u00e9bytnou polohu tlumo\u010dn\u00edka mezi lidmi a p\u0159\u00edrodou. Od roku 2008 se tak\u00e9 v\u011bnuje designu z recyklovan\u00fdch materi\u00e1l\u016f (zejm\u00e9na elektroodpadu v projektu Trash made).<\/p>\n

\"Linda<\/a><\/p>\n

Linda \u010ciha\u0159ov\u00e1 has born on 2.7.1982 in Prague, where she is also living and working. She graduated at the University of Art, Archuitecture and design in Prague and also experienced film studies on FAMU in Prague, University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and Academy Beeldene Kunste in Maastricht, Netherlands.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although Linda \u010ciha\u0159ov\u00e1 is in a way an multi-instrumentalist of new media, almost all her projects have base in land art and concept art. Unifying element and main inspiration source she almost always finds in landscape and science. Her works are a special kind of language, used for communication between nature and human minds.
\n<\/span>Since 2008 she also works with recycled materials (especialy from electrowaste) as designer for Trash made project.<\/span><\/p>\n

Artists statement:
\n<\/strong>In my work, I am trying to transfer the way I see things. The smallest parts of the nature, the invisible creatures whispering words of survival or just having their own lives, where humans are not that much important. The very theme I found interesting is the place where we meet with the nature. How we react to our surrounding and how it reacts to us. How the way of our perception created the environment we are now surrounded by? My aim is not to scientifically understand the system of living beings, but to feel them and pass this emotional information on.<\/span><\/p>\n

My works are mostly related to environment, natural powers, scientific studies or systems. Applying one system on the other helps me to find interesting features and new points of view.<\/p>\n
