Mushroom hunting and fine design have both been defining aspects of Czech culture for centuries \u2013 and on\u00a0Sunday, November 4th in Stromovka Park, these two traditions will come together in a\u00a0new way, as a\u00a0local forest becomes a\u00a0\u2018mushroom-art\u2019 gallery.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

HOUBOBRANI(\u201cMushroom Harvest\u201d) will feature cardboard mushrooms designed by top Czech artists (including Studio DeForm, Okolo, Linda \u010ciha\u0159ov\u00e1<\/a>–Trash Made<\/a>, Qubus, Jania Prokai\u010d, Studio Cincera and Daniel Gonzalez), which will be scattered throughout the forest, just waiting to be discovered! Visitors will receive maps, \u2018mushroom atlases,\u2019 and special collection baskets for their mushroom-hunting expedition \u2013 how fun is that? Organized by the Poland-based Forms and Shapes Foundation, this one-day-only free event takes place from 12:00-18:00.
